Yellow Travertine

Travertine is a type of sedimentary stone made of crystalline calcite and is used for interior and exterior decoration in cream, white and gray colors. This stone is one of the most widely used types of building stones. Travertine has a porous texture that is normally cut in to direction calling vein cut and cross cut. The color variation is due to differences in the compounds that are present in the stone elements during sedimentation. Travertine has high polishing and cutting properties, which creates a high luminosity.
